About the Venue: DeLand House on Main
The DeLand House on Main is a historic, Victorian mansion & elegantly decorated event venue that includes 3 bars, Twin Sisters Gifts, and many multi use spaces. It's also known to be Fairport's most haunted home! It sits on the corner of Main & Church Streets in the heart of downtown Fairport along the Erie Canal, a vibrant hub of retail, restaurants, and historic sites. It has dedicated parking for 50 cars, with additional nearby public parking available a short walk from the venue. With a dedicated customer mailing list and heavy local foot/drive by traffic, it has been very successful hosting markets and similar events.
Vendor Terms & Conditions
There is no fee to apply. Do not fall for scams, anyone trying to collect an application fee or vendor fees other than DeLand House on Main is a scam. Only vendors that have been chosen to participate will receive a follow up contact. If you're not chosen for one of our markets, please apply again for the next one.
Pricing is subject to change without notice. Applying to be a vendor does not guarantee acceptance into the market. No refunds unless cancelled by the venue.
Vendors are solely responsible for having the correct licensing and collecting sales tax, having appropriate signage, obtaining event insurance (if desired/required), and complying with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to the items or services they're selling. Whimsically Witchcrafted and the DeLand House on Main assume no liability for the goods or services provided by participating vendors, and do not provide insurance coverage for any losses, injuries, illnesses, or other perils.
We don't allow AI generated art or literature, including in advertising materials. We don't allow copyrighted or trademarked material to be sold by anyone other than the copyright/trademark holder, and proof of ownership may be required to participate.
We don't allow non-scavenged taxidermy. Any bones or insects taxidermied must have been sourced directly and already deceased or discarded (i.e. roadkill, natural death, natural sheddings/molts, etc.). Absolutely no feathers (except poultry), bats, or protected or endangered species. No live animals.
Nothing offensive will be permitted. Anything that discriminates on the basis of race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexuality, religion, origin, legal status will not be allowed to be displayed or sold. Alcohol, tobacco/nicotine, vapes, marijuana, hallucinogenics, controlled drugs, firearms, or items with hateful slogans or symbols are not permitted to be displayed or sold. Items from closed practices are permitted for cultural display, but may not be sold.
Psychic/medium/tarot readers will be placed on the 3rd floor. Indoor food vendors (not food trucks) will be placed in the bar area.
No burning of candles, incense, sage, or other items indoors. Please limit spraying of highly scented items for the safety and comfort of everyone in attendance.
Food vendors must be using food safe materials for preparing, decorating & displaying food items. Indoor (non-food truck) food vendors are required to pre-package their products off-site for consumption, and have full ingredients lists for every product for sale, with labeling indicating the presence of any allergens either present or potentially present due to cross contamination (soy, wheat, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, eggs, milk). Please consider clearly labeling vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
Religiously aligned vendors in the spiritual space are welcome no matter the faith tradition. However, proselytizing will not be tolerated.
Please include a picture of your products and setup, along with a video of you making your product, and links to your social media. Please indicate if you are unable to do stairs, or stairs would be an obstacle for your setup (i.e. heavy or large equipment).
If you need an electrical outlet, please indicate so on your application and whether or not you will attend if an outlet isn't available. We cannot guarantee an outlet will be available in all spaces.
